These endangered animals (Pangolin, Blue Throated Macaw, American Crocodile, Bengal Tiger, Mountain Gorilla, and African Elephant) were created out of recycled material to highlight the pollution in different biomes and the hunting of animals to extinction.
Ceramics
Inside Out
This vessel explores the precarious balance of a meditative outside form that contrasts the lively world inside each stacked bubble. Momos are seen painting, shuffling about, and swimming inside the vessel blissfully unaware that they are contained.
Turtle Tiles
The hand sculpted ceramic turtle returns to the beach away from the frothing ocean. The water flows naturally along the layered glaze lapping onto its hind fin.
