NASA Lunabotics Design Competition
The NASA Robotic Mining Competition: Lunabotics is a university student design competition based on NASA’s Artemis Moon to Mars mission. The goal of this competition is to build a robot that can navigate obstacles and excavate regolith, in a simulated lunar environment.
UM ASME placed Top 20 out of 58 teams for its 1st year competing in the lunar simulation.

2024 LEAD SYSTEMS ENGINEER
- Supervised a cross-functional team of 25 students hosting weekly meeting agendas and workshops to foster young engineering talent.
- Designed, CAD (SolidWorks) and machined (CNC) 4 subsystems including chassis, collection and deposition.
- Generated a report detailing the project life cycle (Microsoft Project) and risk analysis to ensure functional collecting and deposition within 15 minutes and budget reduction of 17%.
